Can I leave the event and re-enter?
Yes. Re-entry is permitted and managed by our security team. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse entry if necessary. Last entry to the event is 8:00pm.
What are the age restrictions?
Newton Summer Sounds is open to anyone aged 8 and over.
Children aged 8–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Young people aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (maximum of 2 under-18s per adult).
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The venue is wheelchair friendly and includes:
Disabled parking close to the event entrance
A flat site with mainly tarmacked surfaces
A raised accessible viewing platform
Accessible toilet facilities
Can I bring a chair or blanket?
Yes. You're welcome to bring blankets and folding chairs to use within the festival area.
How do I get to the venue?
Leave the A38 at the junction signposted Newton Abbot, then follow the A383 to the main roundabout on the outskirts of town. Take the first exit onto the A381, signposted for the Racecourse and Kingsteignton.
There is ample free parking available at the centre of the racecourse.

What is included with a motorhome pitch?
Motorhome pitch arrivals are between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Saturday.
Awnings are permitted.
Caravans are also permitted on a motorhome pitch.
Open fires and ground barbecues are not allowed.
Reasonable access back to your pitch will be permitted during the event.
Last entry to the site is 8:00pm.
Can I bring food, drinks or alcohol into the festival?
No. Outside food, drinks and alcohol are not permitted.
The only exception is special dietary food. You may also bring sealed bottles of water and empty refillable water containers to use at the free water stations on site.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are only permitted in the motorhome area and must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted within the main festival area.
