Charity Requests
Every year Newton Abbot Racecourse receives a large number of requests from charities and for charity-related events and activities.
The racecourse allocates a set number of prizes each year for charitable distribution, however there are a number of criteria that must be met before a request can be considered.
Newton Abbot Racecourse is only able to respond to requests made directly by registered charities or local schools. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide donations, prizes or sponsorship for individuals fundraising on behalf of organisations or unregistered charities.
Due to the high volume of requests received, we may not be able to respond to every application individually. If you have not received a response within 7 days, unfortunately your request has not been successful on this occasion.
How to request
All requests must be submitted in writing and include the charity’s registered number. The racecourse only supports local causes within a 10 mile radius of Newton Abbot Racecourse.
Each year, the racecourse supports at least five charities in a variety of ways. To ensure a broad and varied range of good causes benefit from this support, different charities are selected each year.
