Choosing the right enclosure can shape your entire raceday experience. At Newton Abbot Racecourse, you can enjoy the action from the relaxed, open setting of the Course Enclosure, or upgrade to the Paddock Enclosure for closer access to the horses, parade ring and additional facilities. Whichever you choose, you’ll find great food, a welcoming atmosphere and everything you need for a memorable day at the races.
Course Enclosure
Within the Course Enclosure, you are never far from great food and drink, making it easy to enjoy a full day at the races.
Racegoers can visit the Alfresco catering outlet for a relaxed outdoor dining experience, complete with decked seating and a wide range of options including pasties, burgers, hot pork baps, jacket potatoes and chips, alongside coffees, teas and cold drinks.
The Course Enclosure Bar and Café will also be open at all fixtures throughout the year, serving a selection of drinks in a convenient indoor setting.
Paddock Enclosure
Within the Paddock Enclosure, there is a wide range of food and drink options to enjoy throughout the day.
The Winning Post Restaurant in the Teign Suite offers course views with wines and champagne, while the Paddock Restaurant overlooks the parade ring with a tempting menu.
You will also find full bar facilities in the Betting Hall, a Paddock Carvery serving hot meals, sandwiches and cakes, and the Silks Lounge for a more relaxed setting with drinks and light bites. Annual Members can access a private lounge with hot beverages.
