Afternoon Horse Racing & Meet An Equine Hero
Spend an afternoon at the races at Newton Abbot Racecourse and enjoy the excitement of jump racing in Devon.
Our April afternoon fixture combines a great day of horse racing with the chance to get closer to the sport through our Meet An Equine Hero experience. Meet a retired racehorse, hear about their racing career and discover what life is like after racing, with the opportunity to see them in the parade ring and meet them again in our Retired Racehorse Shelter.
Whether you're a regular racegoer or looking for a great day out in Devon, there's plenty to enjoy at Newton Abbot. Watch the runners and riders compete over the jumps, soak up the atmosphere and experience the unique thrill of watching live horse racing from the racecourse.
With racing taking place in the afternoon, it's a great opportunity to enjoy a day at the races with friends, family or a group.
