The Acts
MC - Dom Hatton-Woods
Dom Hatton-Woods is the comedic mastermind who takes dysfunction and turns it into a side-splitting spectacle. With a knack for turning life’s chaos into punchlines, Dom navigates through his own personal calamities with a razor-sharp wit and a heaping dose of sarcasm. His comedy is a masterclass in finding humor in the absurdity of modern life, whether he’s dissecting his questionable life choices, his ever-unstable relationships, or the daily grind of existing in a world that seems to have lost its manual.
From failed DIY projects to the intricacies of his family’s unique brand of dysfunction, Dom pulls no punches and takes no prisoners in his quest to turn life’s messes into comedic gold. His performances are a whirlwind tour through his personal misadventures, each story told with a mix of irony and humor that leaves audiences laughing and thinking, “Well, at least my life isn’t that bad.”
With a style that blends self-deprecation with razor-sharp observations, Dom Hatton-Woods is a comedian who proves that sometimes, the best way to deal with life’s chaos is to laugh at it.
Dan Close
Dan Close is a prominent stand-up comedian widely known as the "Big Man" of the Devon comedy scene. He is celebrated for his sharp observational humour and playful storytelling. His comedic style frequently blends edgier, close-to-the-bone jokes with hysterical real-world experiences. He is recognised for his fast-paced observational comedy, dark laughs, and raucous crowd interaction.
"Some dark and disarming material but delivered with beautifully crafted punches and a sweet persona that the audience couldn't help but fall in love with"- Angie Belcher
Stand Up For Cider 2025 finalist
Bristol Comedy Competition 2026 semi-finalist
Sam Love
Sam Love is a Bournemouth-based stand-up comedian, MC and promoter with a filthy, playful and self-deprecating style.
Performing since 2022, Sam has built a reputation for taking stupid thoughts far more seriously than they deserve, turning bad ideas into ridiculous arguments about love, sex, masculinity, relationships and everyday failure. His comedy is silly, dark, gross and strangely logical, often following an intrusive thought all the way to its worst possible conclusion.
Sam regularly performs on professional comedy bills, mainly as a middle act, as well as opening shows and headlining smaller paid nights. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, shared bills with established circuit acts, and runs and MCs regular comedy nights across the South Coast.
With a mix of written material, crowd work and chaotic overthinking, Sam’s act is warm, blunt, stupid and far more carefully constructed than it first appears.
Russell Arathoon
Russell Arathoon takes to the stage with boundless energy, acerbic camp wit, and an infectious personality that pulls audiences into an exciting world that can literally end up going in any direction. A master improvisor and natural born conversationalist, Russell really makes the evening a unique experience.”
From flight attendant to top flight comedy, Russell Arathoon’s career is clear to take off – ★★★★ (4 stars) from The Recs
