The Mr & Mrs Richardson Wedding Day Celebrations Novices’ Hurdle 2m1f was won in fine style by LYSSIO as one would expect from such a short priced favourite. The race was not without incident with only three of the nine starters finishing.

RACING REVIEW 8th JULY
The Visit Newton Abbot Racecourse On Facebook Maiden Hurdle 2m 3f was run at an honest pace. Jonjo O’Neill’s dual bumper winner ANOTHER HERO a half-brother to the top class hurdler Back In Front, travelled well under the champion jockey and jumped fluently on his hurdle debut going comfortably clear after the third last to beat Kalmbeforethestorm by 8 lengths. There was plenty to like about this winning performance and he will be sure to follow-up this win.

Crowds turn out in their best for Ladies' Day
The sun was shining for St Austell Brewery’s Ladies’ Day at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Tuesday 25 June as crowds turned out for one of the most glamorous fixtures in the racing season.
