Racing review - Sunday 20th July 2014

The Packexe 25th Anniversary Maiden Hurdle Race 2m 6f provided a surprise defeat of the odds on favourite Black Cow who had to settle for runner prize monies. The Paul Henderson trained ONE MORE TUNE, an ex-Irish point-to-pointer although badly hampered three out challenged the favourite at the second last and soon lead under Nick Scholfield staying on well to win by 6 lengths. The winner looks a stayer in the making and is worth noting for the future.

Abbot's Whispers - Race Preview Sunday 20th July 2014

2.20: One More Tune is an Irish point winner who could go very well here on debut. Dancing Olga a winner of two points finished third on hurdling debut over the distance to Ebony Empress and looks the main threat to the Paul Nicholls trained BLACK COW who was only beaten a neck here last month over the distance.
