UPSANDDOWNS won a bumper in Kilbeggan a year ago and ran well here on debut for Evan Williams finishing second to a useful looking Arabic History in a bumper can make it a winning debut over hurdles here. Northern Bay was a runner-up on hurdling debut in France over the distance in April and was fourth on fast ground on hurdling debut for David Pipe he could pose a threat here.

The Win Big With The totejackpot Juvenile Hurdle 2m 1f look a competitive event, the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained GOODBYE DANCER who had made an impression with wins at Market Rasen and Stratford made it an early season hat-trick. He started 2/7f and was quickly settled by rider Sam Twiston-Davies made all went clear two out and was kept on to beat the unraced Sinndar’s Man by three lengths.
