Say hello to Jenny – our latest recruit

We’re really excited to welcome our latest new recruit, Jenny Paton, to the team here at Newton Abbot Racecourse. Jenny’s no stranger to the racecourse, having worked here previously as Marketing Manager before joining the fun over at the renowned Paignton Zoo, where she was the Fundraising Manager.

Newton Abbot Racecourse – an ideal venue

Jenny’s new role at Newton Abbot Racecourse will be Business Development Manager, helping us to raise the profile of the course not just as a premier summer jumps course, but as the South West’s go to venue to hold conferences, meetings, concerts, exhibitions or any other type of event and activity.

New events in the making

She’ll also be looking at the feasibility of introducing new events to the racecourse as well as looking at potentially resurrecting a number of exhibitions that were held there in the past.

This year the racecourse is also looking to launch a new Corporate Members’ Club which will enable local businesses to benefit from national publicity, by linking with the racecourse. Jenny will take the lead on this initiative and is looking forward to working with local interested parties.
