A P McCoy made it a hat-trick of wins and double for trainer Jonjo O’Neill when AMERICAN LEGEND landed The Handicap Hurdle 3m 3f. It was a true run race over the marathon distance with only two left to battle it out up the home straight, the winner fitted with a visor for the first time over came his blunder at the last to beat Qulinton by ¾ of a length. The winner looks a progressive sort and this young horse is worth noting for the future!
