Here’s the answers to everything you need to know ahead of the return of the Newton Abbot Christmas Fayre on Saturday 3 December 2022.

Newton Abbot Christmas Fayre 2022 – FAQs

What time does the Christmas Fayre open?

This year’s Newton Abbot Christmas Fayre will run from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 3 December 2022 at Newton Abbot Racecourse.

How much does it cost to enter?

Entry to this year’s Christmas Fayre is just £3 for adults or free for children aged 16 and under. Tickets are available to purchase on the gate on the day, no need to book in advance.

Can I park at the Christmas Fayre?

Yes, there is ample on-site free parking for the Fayre. Please enter the racecourse from the Tesco roundabout. Parking will initially be in the Owners and Trainers car park, with overflow parking available in the centre of the course.

Our friendly parking stewards will be able to direct you on the day.

How many stalls will there be to visit?

We have over 100 different stalls booked in to join us at the Christmas Fayre this year, covering gifts for all ages and budgets. Exhibitor products include jewellery, homeware, books, fragrance, pet gifts, food and drink, stocking-fillers, ceramics, decorations and much, much more.

Are there any Christmas activities for children?

Of course – we’re delighted to once again offer ‘Reinpony’ rides in the Parade ring at just £5 per ride including a rosette.

We’ll also be offering festive facepainting for just £5 per person and we have an inflatable snow globe at just £2.50 a turn – perfect for a festive photo or two. There will also be festive colouring-in by the Festive Café.

Will there be any entertainment?

Yes, this year we’ll once again be joined by the wonderful Red Rock Acappella who will be performing a number of Christmas classics for visitors.

What food options will there be?

We will have a number of food outlets available at the Christmas Fayre including our Festive Café in the Paddock Room (View Festive Café Menu) and outside you’ll find our Festive Trailer (View Festive Trailer Menu) and a turkey bap marquee.

There will also be a Mulled Wine and Mince Pie stall in between the main exhibition halls.

Are card payments accepted?

Yes, the racecourse accepts card or cash payments for both entry and in our catering outlets. A number of our exhibitors are also able to accept card payments, but not all so we do advise bringing some cash with you to be on the safe side.

The racecourse cash machine will be available to use on the day. Alternatively, the next nearest cash machine will be over the road from the racecourse at Tesco.

Are dogs allowed?

As our Christmas Fayre is expected to be very busy, we would advise that dogs are left at home for their safety and comfort.

However, if you are unable to leave your dog at home, they will be allowed to enter the racecourse but must remain on a lead at all times and are not allowed near the Reinponies in the Parade Ring. Only well-behaved dogs allowed please.

Can I book a place on the Wreath Making Class?

Unfortunately, both the morning and afternoon wreath making classes are now fully sold out, with no further places available on the day.

Can I book to exhibit at this year’s Christmas Fayre?

This year’s event is now fully booked. If you would like to be amongst the first to hear when stalls are released for future events, please email
