ONE WEEK TO GO - Get set for Newton Abbot Racecourse’s annual Christmas Fayre
Following the huge success of last year’s first ever Christmas Fayre at Newton Abbot Racecourse, the team are doing it all again for 2019, much to the pleasure and delight of stallholders and canny Christmas shoppers alike.
This year’s fayre on Saturday 7th December promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s, which saw 3000 Christmas shoppers visit the racecourse looking for unique and inspiring gifts, as well as tasty edible treats to enjoy now, to gift or savour over the festive period.
Starting at 10am on the 7th, the festive fayre is very definitely a family-friendly event, with something to keep everyone happy. There will be over 90 stalls lined up selling gift and foodie treats along with organised Christmas craft activities for children – perfect for making something to take home and keep as a memento of a brilliant, fun day out. With over 75 stalls undercover, this promises to be a great event, whatever the weather.
And to make it even more special for little ones, there’ll be the added attraction of Reindonkey rides – who could resist a cuddly donkey with antlers? These gentle animals are bound to become a firm favourite with your children. Rides are weather-permitting – reindonkeys don’t like getting their antlers wet.
Following their great success last year, the Red Rock Harmony Choir will be returning to sing your favourite Christmas carols through the event. This really talented group of singers bring with them a truly festive feel along with a big dollop of the spirit of Christmas – perfect.
Entrance to the Newton Abbot Racecourse Christmas Fayre is only £2 for adults and FREE for children, with the additional benefit of ample FREE parking on site – just one more reason to make this a definite date for your calendar this December. Why not bring the whole family along for a great day out in the beautiful setting of Newton Abbot Racecourse.
