Meet an equine hero - Get ready to meet a true champion, Kauto the King! During his thrilling career, this wonderful horse became an absolute star right here at Newton Abbot Racecourse, treating fans to multiple brilliant victories and earning a special place in our hearts. Now officially retired from the track, Kauto is enjoying a happy, well-deserved second career learning new skills in the Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) program. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome him back to his favorite turf today as our 'Equine Hero.' Our line up for the evening is as follows:
MC – Tom Glover
Tom Glover is a highly experienced stand-up comedian and one of the most in-demand MCs on the UK comedy circuit. Known for his razor-sharp crowd work, quick-fire improvisation and effortless ability to read a room, Tom keeps shows running smoothly while generating huge laughs of his own. A resident host across multiple comedy clubs and festivals, he’s also built a large online following thanks to his viral stand-up clips and relatable observational humour. A confident, charismatic compère who guarantees a strong start and seamless flow to the night.
Opening Act – Jeremy Flynn
Jeremy Flynn is a fast-rising comedian known for his clever writing, warm delivery and sharply observed humour. He’s also widely recognised as Geoffrey from Fin vs The Internet, where his character comedy has earned a strong and loyal online following.
