Owners and Trainers

Dear owner
We are delighted that you have entered your horse to
run at Newton Abbot and very much hope you will be able
run on the day. To make your day more enjoyable please
find a brief guide to service we will be offering all
owners who have runners on the day.
On arrival at the racecourse you will be directed to
the owners and trainers car park. On leaving the car
park please collect your badges from the badge office.
Please remember to bring your PASS card, which entitles
you to four complimentary badges for a single owner
or six badges for a partnership or syndicate. All additional
badges will be charged at £16.
As an owner you are, of course, welcome to enjoy all
our facilities, however, we do offer exclusively for
you the use of the Owners and Trainers Bar and Lounge
opposite the parade ring. In addition to your badge
allocation we will provide you with a voucher when you
collect your raceday badges to enable you to receive
complimentary tea/coffee and sandwiches. You will be able to view the racing from
the Owners Stand.
If you are bringing young children with you between
the ages of 3-7, Happy Days Nursery is open for every
meeting. For more information call 01626 334070
or find details on the website.
Winning owners and guests are invited to the Directors’
Room for a celebratory glass of champagne and a chance
to view the race on a complimentary video.
We at Newton Abbot try to make a special effort to
keep your trainer up to date with the latest going
and
weather reports, if you would like an up to date going
report, please call Jason Loosemore, our Estate Manager
on 07766 228109 or 01626 353235.
Alternatively we continually keep our website up to
date.
We very much want to ensure your visit is enjoyable
therefore if there is anything you feel we can do for
you including local accommodation, train timetables,
etc. please do not hesitate to call the racecourse office.
We have two restaurants in the Paddock Enclosure for
which booking is advisable. The Winning Post Restaurant
is located in the Teign Suite and is a luxury prime
position restaurant overlooking the course. A full selection
of wines and champagnes is also available. The Paddock
Restaurant is at the back of the main grandstand overlooking
the parade ring and offers a 3-course set menu with choices.
We do hope you choose to run your horse with us and
I would be more than happy to receive any comments or
advice on how we could make your visit more pleasurable.
With very best wishes
Patrick Masterson
