Owners and Trainers

Owner's Facilities

Our Owners and Trainers Bar, opposite the parade ring, is exclusively for owners and trainers with runners on the day. We offer complimentary coffee, tea and pastries.

There is a seperate Owners Enterance and dedicated Owners Car Park.

Owners will have their own dedicated viewing area in the main grandstand, opposite the winning post.

Restaurants and Accommodation: Please note, both our Winning Post & Paddock restaurants are extremely popular and subject to availability, we ask for a deposit on booking. We are more than happy to recommend or reserve overnight accommodation for owners travelling a long distance.

Dress Code: We are a very friendly and relaxed racecourse but we prefer our patrons to dress smartly.

Going: We at Newton Abbot try to make a special effort to keep your trainer up to date with the latest going and weather reports, if you would like an up to date going report, please call Jason Loosemore, our Clerk of the Course on 07766 228109 or 01626 353235.

Badge Allocations: Please be sure to bring your PASS card as this is required when entering the course. Once parked in the owners and trainers car park you can collect complimentary badges. A single owner is entitled to 4 badges and a partnership or syndicate 6. Any addditions to your allocation can be purchased at £10 and will be an Owners and Trainers' day badge.

In addition all Racecourse Badge Scheme for Owners & PTA members who do not have a runner on the day and TBA Badge Scheme members with horses they have bred but do not own, running on the day will be issued a Complimentary Badge and not an Owners day badge.
