NEWTON ABBOT RACECOURSE INVEST HEAVILY FOR START OF NEW RACING SEASON

CHAMPION racehorse trainer Martin Pipe CBE will be at Newton Abbot Racecourse to

open a new Stable Lads' Canteen on 21st March - part of a £300,000 investment at the

racecourse.

The canteen is just one of a series of improvements made at the racecourse for the start of

the 2010 season. The experience for race-goers is also being improved with the installation of

several plasma TVs around the racecourse, a new owners', trainers' and pedestrian entrance

and the renovation of the Paddock Restaurant.
